At Calvert Jones we are a small, friendly independent lifestyle shop in the beautiful riverside town of Henley-on-Thames.

We opened our doors in September 2020, mid global pandemic on Hart Street, one of the charming streets leading down to the river.

Calvert Jones is a small team of myself; Sue and my husband Mark who helps at the weekends and we are gradually adding a few friendly faces to help out and who share their passion for all things lovely.

Having both worked in retailing for many years we were excited to realise our dream of having our own business from a genuine of love retail, to an appreciation of beautiful and interesting things, and excited to be part of the local community.

We wanted to make a shop that was fun, friendly and relaxing for customers to enjoy and share our love of things that are well designed.

We offer a beautifully curated selection of modern gifts, jewellery, homewares and houseplants that are simple beautiful designs, good quality, well priced and consciously made by small producers within the UK and Europe.
